Media has breached being just disingenuous, they are dangerous!

Trumps resent round table and discussion which prompted a discussion about immigration and MS-13 gang members has been reported by the Media in a very different light than what actually happened.

Context of discussion:

Trump was listening to Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims speak about how California’s sanctuary city laws have hamstrung her ability to prosecute illegal aliens and especially dangerous gang members.

“It’s really put us in a really bad position, and it’s a disgrace,” Mims told the president.

“We’re suing on that, and we’re working hard and I really think it’ll come together,” he responded.

“There could be an MS-13 gang member,” she continued, “I know about, if they don’t meet a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about them.”

“We have people coming into the country,” Trump agreed, “trying to come in, we’re stopping a lot of them, but we’re taking people out of the country, you wouldn’t believe how bad these people are.”

“These aren’t people,” Trump emphasized dramatically, “these are animals.”

Actual video:

However, each media outlet are being disingenuous with their reporting, leaving out a critical element of the discussion, making it sound like Trump was talking only about all immigrants as animals.

Washington Post:
President Trump on Thursday pointedly referred to undocumented immigrants as "animals" in a statement his critics say betrays a gross misunderstanding of the plight of people who came to the United States illegally, and beyond that, little sympathy for them.

Huffington Post:
Trump Refers To Immigrants As ‘Animals.’ Again.

NY Times:
Trump Calls Some Unauthorized Immigrants ‘Animals’ in Rant

USA Today:
OnPolitics Today: Trump calls undocumented people 'animals,' rhetoric with a dark past

Granted, these are liberal rags but this is nearly criminal and slanderous.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
