I think it would depend on a lot of things I've stepped in puddles that are warmer than the air in the south, in summer. it probably has a lot to do with the evaporation rate, so relative humidity, surface area of the pool, sun exposure, etc. etc.. I wouldn't bet avoiding a bellyache on it. standing pools of water are bug and bacteria factories.
