What to burn for white ash for lye

Good luck. When I bought my property 12 years ago it was half ash. That damn green beetle killed them all I don't have one left and honestly have not seen one still alive in the last 6-7 years anywhere in the county.

If it hasn't hit your area it will don't worry. Running through now is oak wilt. My trees are still ok but I haven't bought firewood in 3 years just cut the dead oaks off friends property and there are stretches on some of the roads where you don't see a live oak for a few miles.
