I have a Winchester 94AE purchased new from a gun shop, sometime back in the 1990s. It's only been shot a few dozen times and was stored indoors all of it's life. However at some point in time it was stored outside it's case. Due to condensation there's quit a bit of rust on it's barrell and a few other smaller rust spots on other areas.
I'm wondering the cost of having it restored and possiblities of restoring it myself, which I imagine would require at least removing the barrell. I'm uncertain if the entire rifle would need to be dismantled or not?
