Federal Armament. Yay or nay?

Why would you want tracer rounds? Hoping to set more fires? You WANT the other guys to see where you are?

Unless you are shooting a machine gun at long range at a moving target, I don't see the value. Also, some states make shooting them in most places illegal, even if you can buy them.

On the other hand...watching a rainbow of tracers arc across the sky into a target 1200 yards out is a beautiful thing.
