Colonial Whiskey Making

It is not legal for all practical purposes the average person to legally make Whiskey, but at one time in Colonial America it was an important way to make a product that could be stored and readily shipped. If we ever have a prolonged disaster that disrupts normal commerce it would again be of great value as a trade item. I do not drink myself, but I know a lot of people that do. There is always a market for alcohol. Alcohol can also be used to power engines.
Here is link to a video discussing it in colonial times.
