Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

This is the first total lunar eclipse of the year and will be visible everywhere in the US (if you have clear skies). It's also a super moon and will appear blood red at totality, thus its name of the Blood Moon. And because it's the first full moon of the year it's also the Wolf Moon. Blood moons are awesome to look at.

The eclipse will begin at 9:36 EST with totality at 12:12 EST. The next visible total lunar eclipse won’t occur until May 26, 2021.
