Wool blanket instead of sleeping bag?

Anyone use a wool blanket rather than a sleeping bag? I am planning a camping trip in early spring when temps may be in the 40s or 50s overnight.

To go with the blanket I have a US gi poncho liner that I have had since the 1990s.

Using a Therm-a-rest classic sleeping pad, wool blanket, and poncho liner, do you think one could sleep comfortably into the 40 and 50s?

Temps are in Fahrenheit, because America!

I feel rather silly even asking this question as I need to go camping more. Hopefully I can venture into a local national forest and spend some time in the woods.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
