Multiple gennys with parallel it?

Hey folks. Getting ready to start my house build and think I’ve decided on some form of dual fuel genny hooked up to critical circuits. Way I see it, I can control when the genny runs easy this way at a much cheaper cost than a standby unit.

That said, toying around with the concept of two smaller gennys using a parallel kit. You can get double the power and, the key thing, you have redundancy and spare parts if one fails (obviously with reduced capacity but still better than nothing) Right now, I have a Westinghouse igen 2500 that is parallel capable, however, that likely won’t be enough running watt juice (4400)for what I want. There are some gennys you can parallel that get you into the 6-7kw range. Thoughts on this concept?
