Honored to meet a member of the Band of Brothers

I had the honor to meet Col. Edward Shames today at the Currahee Military museum in Toccoa, GA. He was a very cool gentleman and had some awesome stories. I live only 2 miles from where the guys trained and I have "walked" the mountain a number to times. After the first time of climbing that hill I got a whole new respect for those guys. But, I was very honored to be able to talk to someone of that time and get a better idea of the difference for what they had to deal with in the military.:thumb:
