adobe flash question

i'm seeing the little adobe flash box when trying to view clips, mostly on news sites. it asks if i want to accept or deny access by the hosting site. i click on accept if i want to watch and deny if i don't. problem is, the little box stays right in the middle of the vid box and doesn't go away no matter what i do or which box i check.
aside from uninstalling adobe flash for good, how do i make the box go away so i can watch the clip?
