Antenna analyzer to help with manual tuner

I just wanted to point out that, if given basic directions to tune your antenna by manual tuner, you can get pretty good. I took a 3.5:1 to a 1.5:1 using the needles and watching while transmitting.

Using the antenna analyzer, I was able to adjust my SWR down to 1.03:1 without keying or any on that jazz. I honestly just hadn't thought of doing that until now, to get the best results for tonight's meeting on air.

This is also a thought for anyone running a CB, and just cannot get their SWR down. I am not mentioning any parties here (I got it down, just not real close to 1:1) so this may be the Method I use there as well.

Just figured I would mention the fine tune on a manual tuner.
