Eugene Stoner family fantasy land

The family of Eugene Stoner (designer of the AR-15) says that he never intended his design to be in the hands of civilians. Also interestingly they say that mass shootings never occurred until AFTER his death in 1997 which is also when the AR-15 STARTED to get popular. Apparently he was single-handedly keeping the AR out of all us crazy blood thirsty crazies hands and preventing mass murder!

I won't bother posting examples of mass shootings that happened before April of '97 but there were plenty, including ones using and AR.
