Gun Sales Spike among LGBT's after Orlando

It is sociologically fascinating. The gay community tries to overcome their oppression and in some way prides itself on independence and trying to be strong in some ways, and the worlds "independent" and "empowered" seem important in that community. They are very dialed into civil liberties. If that community became pro-gun, it would turn things on their head.

Lots of hard decisions for the ACLU for instance if their base suddenly placed huge value on the 2A, among other civil liberties.

Dems would really have to just shut up about gun control if a segment of their "I'm gay and I vote" population became interested in the pro-gun 2A movement.

What a weird twist all this would take that a Muslim (who are anti-gay) killed gays with a gun, and if gays ran to the 2A for protection and drug the ACLU with it in tow, and shut up Dems on the 2A...

I think gun owners should stop taking crackshots at the LG community. They probably are most dissuaded from joining our side because of the bigotry. And it probably violates the rules anyway.

As they say war makes interesting "bedfellows." I'd welcome millions of pro-gun anti-Hillary gays on our side, and force the ACLU to support the 2A.
