HI-POINT 9mm carbine

DefaultHI-POINT 9mm carbine

Howdy.
A few weeks ago I bought a used older Hipoint 1st gen 995st (planet of the apes rife.) with un known round counts through the beast. I put a low 4x power cheapie scope on it.
I get a decent group out of every 10 round mag but there is always a few flyers that throw the whole group out to about 6" at 50 yards.
I can stack 5-6 rounds into a 1.5" hole but those other 3-4 bug the crap out of me. I checked the scope mounting and hardware, seems tight and secure .
I bought one of the last ATI conversion stocks and It did the same thing as the original stock, I thought if I tried a more rigid stock the groups would shrink up.
I am thinking about sending it back, and have the factory look into it, maybe the barrels shot, I don't know. But should I take the ATI stock off and send it back in the original stock? How about removing the front sight?
any advice from Hi point users would be appreciated.
The Hipoint bashers can go stick their heads in a pillow case.
