I'm not sure what to think about this. Thoughts?

So, this illegal girl graduates from a ghetto school in Austin, Tx. She is valedictorian and she gets a free ride to the University of Texas.

Her high school has a proficiency rating of 32% in ENGLISH and a proficiency rating of 11% in MATH. In Texas, if you are valedictorian you get into the school of your choice so UT had to take her. If she can't cut it (grade wise), they have to provide remedial classes to her before they kick her out.

According to a relative of mine who is a retire public school administrator, the majority of the kids who come from this type of schools aren't proficient in anything, wind up in the remedial classes before they drop out or get kicked out.

So, should an illegal be given a free ride to school instead of someone who is here legally?
