...thats what I just heard on CNN.. so it must be true...

"Preppers morphed into "Patriots" after the Cold War ended"...... And "instead of just hoarding food and water, they started hoarding guns and ammunition."

The commentor/host guy then showed a graph of the amount of patriot groups since 1997.... not so sure why he picked 1997 but it showed a steady decline of patriot groups up until Barack Obama became president..... he claims that these patriot/prepper groups didn't start up because of 9/11 or the invasion of Iraq, but because BARACK OBAMA became president!!!!!

The show I am referencing is a series on CNN (go figure).... its called "United Shades of America" and the episode I was watching is titled "Off the Grid" . (Season 1 Episode 05)....

so, is that why you all started prepping?!?!? Because Barack Obama became president?????
