My endless scout rifle debate

The last thing I wanted for my firearms collection was a bolt rifle in a large hunting caliber. About a year ago, after a long back and forth debate, I ended up buying a Ruger American 308 rifle. There is nothing wrong with it, but I've regretted not getting a scout rifle since. Mainly because the scout seems to be all the American is with some other flexibility. I've decided to sell the American, but now I'm stuck on which scout rifle to get. I was all set to get a Mossberg, but at the moment they can't be found anywhere so I'm once again considering the alternatives.

Ruger Gunsite Scout (~$825): Pros - I'm a big Ruger fan, seems the best liked on the whole. Cons - most expensive "affordable" option, expensive mags.

Savage 11 Scout (~$700): Pros - lots of Savage fans, less expensive then the Ruger, handled it and was impressed. Cons - expensive and hard to find mags.

Mossberg MVP Scout (~$550): Pros - cheapest option by at least $150, will run AR10 and M1A1/M14 mags. Cons - mixed quality reputation, hard to find anywhere.

Any opinions? Or any other options? I'm willing to look at something else in 308Win if it meets the general scout requirements.
