New Member in Washington State

Hi Everybody, I am a new member living in Western Washington. I joined in May, but it has taken this long for things to settle down with the kids' schools and summer camps, so now I finally have time to read this board. We have a little "hobby" farm of about 5.5 acres that is 75 miles from our suburban home. We have started a small orchard, but I want to learn what else I can plant and do to make our little farm a place of refuge when the end of the world as we know it happens. Thanks and I look forward to learning a lot from everybody!
