Which axe??

Hey everyone, I'm Vince

New to the forums, sort of new to the whole bushcraft/outdoor scene as well lol.

My question today is, which axe should I get?

I'm obviously looking for something light weight, in the 30-36in range for length. I have checked out a few, and reviews and everything I see says to use a chopping or felling axe to cut down trees, and splitting axe to split the wood...makes sense right?

Except I'll be doing both and don't want to bring 2 axes. Seeing as I'm keeping the pack light.

So any recommendations?

I'm leaning towards the new fiskars splitting axe, and sticking to trees less than 8in diameter; but would still like the experts opinions
