Anyone here been a hippie?

Probably the wrong forum to ask on, but you never know about what people did in their youths!

We have quite a bit of people of the baby boomer generation and older (which is nice), so maybe the question has some relevance after all. It is not meant to be judgmental or anything, it's just that, well, we didn't have hippies where I live. In the 60s, people here lived in the 50s. My mom and dad were young in the 60s but they liked Paul Anka, Bill Haley and Elvis. And then some more Elvis. Oh, did I mention Elvis? The only 60s music they ever listened to was early Beatles, all prior to Sgt Pepper.

So... did anyone go to Woodstock? Or have a VW "bus"? Or listen to trippy music? Or believe in Peace and Love? Or pretend to do so for the gals and the drugs?

I myself, in my youth (late 80s, 90s), went to tons of music festivals. Never been into drugs but I've been into music, especially live music. It's quite different from around the time of my birth, but when I was young the music festivals were great and quite friendly. And tons of fun. Kind of miss that but... not young anymore. *whine whine*

Anyone with a story to tell? All ears here!
