Sooooo, I've been making "damascus" knives, kitchen knives, hatchets for awhile, but the major source of income tends to come from female sources in the way of plant stands, shelf brackets, fireplace accessories etc. And I recently started using some of my pattern welded stock to make the female type stuff to give it a little bling. I'm wondering if anybody has some particular favorite steels that give some good color and pattern contrasts?
