US Warning of Election Day Terrorist Attacks

On this forum, potential uprisings/unrest has been discussed as a result of the election results on the 8th. What hasn't been discussed much is the credible threats of terrorism before or on election day. As of today, US intelligence agencies have warned of possible Al Queda attacks in three US cities (Texas, Virginia, and New York).

Many believe that Al Queda prefers Clinton over Trump due to his harsh rhetoric towards terrorism; some believe that Clinton and Al Queda are funded by the same folks regardless, this news is troubling and if an attack occurs, the purpose would be to influence the election results.

What are you guys doing to prepare? If unrest or attacks hit in our general area, my wife and I will have the following prepared and ready to go to the in-laws. They are close enough that I could still drive to work, but far enough in the country that we'll be safe:

-Food/Water
-Weeks worth of clothes
-Protection (rifle/pistol/loaded mags)
-Meds

I see this as a good 'test' to ensure that we can roll out in a major SHTF situation. I suggest you use this opportunity to do the same. Stay safe and God bless.
