LOL, let's see that bill get past SCOTUS now. Even Kennedy would kick it to the curb.

This bill exists for exactly one reason. Public Relations. This little herd wants to be seen as champions of the Left.

How would it get passed in this session? It can't, and then it dies in January. They would have to revive it in January 2019 if they managed to take back the majority in the House. By then Trump will already be in campaign mode for 2020 and could rightly declare it as an attempt to influence the election. He'd drag it down the campaign trail and leave it battered and bloody in the roadside dust.

The funniest thing is that the entire line of succession is now 100% right wing.

Pence would tear them up if they booted Trump. All those establishment rightwing power brokers lying low now would return in force if Pence took over. The amount of money spent to bury the Democrats would make German banker blush at the sum. The Koch brothers would go door to door handing out car gift certificates to ensure everyone would get to the polls to vote for Pence.

This is all theater. They know it won't work. My suspicion it doesn't have much to do with Trump either. It's a power move to push the old Democrats aside and allow the young liberal guns to take the party reigns.

Civil War? Yep, this seems like civil war in the Democratic Party.

They might allow Obama to be influential if they win, but Pelosi and the Clintons will be cashiered.
