Lost in the Wilderness - Which Do You Want to Carry?

You're a bit lost in the Alaskan wilderness in early June and know if you hike about 100 miles southeast, you'll eventually come to a ranger's station at the base of Mt. McKinley. Your small bush plane went down and all you have on you is a small 7.25" Tops Scout knife with 3.25" blade, and a Bic lighter.

Which would you rather have with you in addition to the small knife?
A high quality Tomahawk (your choice).
A Cold Steel Axe, the Trail Boss, 4" blade, 27" OAL.
or
A Silky Zobat Tree Saw - 13" blade.

Keeping in mind, you'll have to cut wood for fires, maybe build a shelter, maybe other implements, and perhaps cross one river, the North Fork. Keeping also in mind, it's high bear season, as the salmon are running.

Which do you want - the tomahawk, axe or saw? And why? (it must be one of these three, nothing else, no other additions) [ATTACH]

Let's block ads! (Why?)
