As with any other conflict, an arms race was sure to happen. When the Cold War was on, we went from planes, to jets, to missiles, and finally to intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) that carried nuclear warheads. While Chicago gangs may not have access to that type of weaponry, they are moving from handguns to rifles. The change in firepower has changed the game for everyone involved.
Of course the gun grabbers are going to blame the guns. It can not be the fault of the criminal, right? So who is to blame?
