You can often get them for free or very cheap by going to places that use them. Bakeries, donut shops, ice cream shops, sandwich and fast food joints, and even supermarkets with bakeries inside are all good places to try. And you can get food grade gasketed lids at most home improvement centers. They also have the buckets, but they can get pricey buying a bunch.
