Hawk 981 action tube bar broke at solder joint.

I've got a buddy with a hawk 981 shotgun. He took a class and one of the solder joints on the action tube broke and he needs a new slide action tube. Does anyone know if the remington 870 slide action tube would fit by chance?

I'm asking because I think it'd be cheaper to just buy one from Remington if it fits than to have it resoldered.
