There are all sorts of gimmick eating tools like Sporks on the market. I prefer a normal spoon and fork and have them in my survival gear. I recently found a Sterling Silver spoon cheap at a thrift store.
It occurred to me that having a Sterling Silver spoon in your gear would be doubly useful. Of course you can use it as a spoon. But since it is actually Sterling Silver, it can be used as silver for trade to anyone valuing silver. Still looking for a solid gold spoon.
