Thinking of purchasing a 50 cal semi auto

Thinking of purchasing a 50 caliber BMG, semi auto. My friend manufacturers these things and I'm absolutely enamoured with their performance. The idea of having a really capable rifle sits well with me. I'm not sure I'd shoot it much, and it's of limited real world use, (right now) . Plus I'm getting older and I've lost a lot of strength, so it's unquestionably on the large side for me. (not sure that I really care though) It's just a toy, and a very cool toy, at that.
