Dunkin' Donuts foreclosure in Sweden

Four years after the chain opened in Sweden, it suddenly shut down with absolutely no notice. They simply didn't make enough money.

The reason is blamed on Swedish people's food habits. Even if we have one of the highest consumption of sweets, people seem to think that donuts are simply too sinful and unhealthy. Swedes don't like to be seen with really unhealthy options. Some stuff is "too much" here, when Americans don't seem to hide their appetite in the same manner, and eat without guilt or shame.

Bad food sells. I am surprised people sort of said no to this. I guess cinnamon buns is more the Swedish way...
