Sears

Today I bought two large sets of wrenches. 1 metric, 1 standard.
I got some good discounts. These wrenches started at about an inch on up.

I asked the Manager if they had a large set of both metric and standard wrenches in stock, she told me if I bought both 5 wrench sets she would add a 10 percent discount.

So it turns out the wrenches were cheaper than marked because Sears changes the prices very often this time of year.

Each 5 wrench set was marked 79 dollars but I ended up with both for about 90 dollars.

Maybe this is one reason why Sears may go out of business? Most people don't have time to figure out how to get all the discounts?

I don't know anyone who works at Sears, and have no relatives at Sears, but I will miss them if they go out of business....

If I go back tomorrow the coupon I got today gives me 5 dollars off a 15 dollar purchase.

If I go back in January, my purchase today give me 20 dollars off an at least 20 dollar purchase.

It all makes my head hurt. But still, I will miss Sears.
