We are expecting a house full of company next weekend. To simplify feeding the crew, I usually prepare some items ahead of time and store in the freezer. For the first time I decided to prepare Bacon ahead of time. I fried 5 lbs., drained / blotted the grease. When cool, placed in stacks of 5 pcs inside large freezer bag and stored in the freezer. It’s easy to pull out a stack of 5 pcs and microwave for 10 seconds. It’s like it just came out of the frying pan! Certainly makes it easier to feed a crowd.
