So you're ready to bug out...but where?

So you have everything you need ready to go in your bug out bag(s) and you have run the drills with your family on what to do and where to meet up, right? So where are you going to bug out to???? Getting clear of highly populated areas is a great idea but unless you own your own private island and a boat to get there and a good water supply and enough rations to last for at least a year and a seed vault and workable farm land and an insanely strong and defensible fortress on that island you might want to think long and hard about your long term survival plan.

Wouldn't it be great if there was some place like that and you were already set to survive for an infinite amount of time with others who were smart enough to think ahead and pool their resources to build and stock up on everything you will need? Good news my friends...there is! I can't post a link for you here but if you want to see the future of survival just start searching for "The New Eden Project" and don't give up until you find the site that describes the 100 colony's they are building across the US. It's not easy to find and even harder to become a member but hang in there and you just might become one of the lucky ones.
