I am currently preparing for an EMP event. Living in an urban area presents many challenges, one among them is cooking. If I were to start a fire & cook outside, I might as well put a sign on that says come steal my supplies. Most hot plates are 500 watts or higher. Could I use a 250 watt solar panel/ car battery setup to cook my food? (Assuming I already have faraday cages to protect my stuff)
