After useing the Rinehardt/BK kukri for a while, I decided 2 things had to go. first , THE BK plastic scales. to slick. to hard to hold onto. Had Joe up at LMF carve me out a set, rough, I fine tuned em in. finished that. it worked better, then due to the sandblasted finish, everything i cut, left a lot behind on the blade. it collected crud. to the point, if i used it and shoved it back in the sheath without scrubbing it down, it would dry and stick. ( not wiping it off, I mean scrubbing it down, blast finish acted like sandpaper holding on to resin and sap, along with other residue). so, I cereacoated . OD. took a pic to remember what it looked like unskuffed.....
