Dog control collars for defence

A while ago whilst watching a program about dog training I saw control collars being used for dogs.
I first saw these years and years ago, but never had I seen them used this way to control a dog, in fact the way I saw them used was totally opposite to the way they were used in this program, as the way I saw it used they were to defend the dog from attack or unwanted control. The first time I ever saw this was on 2 rottweilers when on holiday in Spain

One of a dogs greatest weaknesses is its throat and neck area, where they can be grabbed and held, so this works to help protect this area and reduce the chances of your dog(s) being taken down.

The collars are turned so the spikes are pointed outwards, you add or remove spiked links to the collar so it fits snugly, and you secure it with a plain leather collar run through what is now the base. If you want extra security you can add a couple of small padlocks

Now lets see some a$$wipe grab your dog by the neck
