After watching the UKs Professor Noel Fitpatrick repair numerous pets on his programme Supervet, it made me think that I'm not that prepared for my pets medical needs. I do have a pet FA kit, and Merek's manual but I'm wondering what else I should have.
I have a OAP dog and tropical fish at the moment, but there are plans for another dog and maybe a cat too.
I have the usual supplies of collars, leads, stroller, Bob kit already.
I'm wondering what information I should have, such as physiology and anatomy of each pet, do a FA course for my pets, build a really good library (I'd love any suggestions) and watch more videos on Veterinary stuff. i have found some great charts on Pinterest to print off (see my Pin board on Veterinary or individual pet vet sections)
I'd love your advice.
Thanks
Purdy.
PS: I had a nightmare where my dog bleed out just like an alcoholic, so now I'm wondering what would cause that, I'm thinking poisoning. Luckily my chap is fine of course but it does play on ones mind.
