Prepper vs Survivor

I think it basically comes down to if survivalist or prepper was already taken when creating the forum name/user name/blog name.

A lot of people may start out with the notion of survivalist = Rambo and prepper = fallout shelter. Most people are some mix of several; homesteader, farmer, suburbanite, small town, survivalist, prepper, camper, hiker, nature lover, hoarder , etc.
