I just came across this article about looting and peoples behavior after a disaster, printed after Typhoon Haiyan.
I can't quite make heads or tails of this other than the fact that it is written totally from a Collectivist point of view, and that looting is a myth??
Of course, no mention of being prepared ahead of time...
This quote struck me as idiotic:
"It is to say that much of what is called looting is really a rational survival strategy combined with a political protest..."
What do you think?
