Next bacon, chickens and eggs are closer.
Potatoes are under 200 feet from where I'm sitting right now.
Freezer where what I've got sits runs off the sun
Propane tank is full, but my primary heat comes from my 80 acres of trees... a fair amount of which is cut and waiting to be split.

Buy local and be as independent as possible.

I'm not saying I could sit on my property forever, but I could quite a while.

Id miss the entertainment and information of the internet, but I have thousands of books.
