[B]DIY Busbar[/B]

Took some time today and made a busbar to install inside my battery box. I'm going to make another one and use them for the positive and negative connections inside the battery box instead of having several cable attached to the batteries.

The busbar I made is made from 1/4" electrical busbar material (solid copper & lead coated). This is what the scrap yard man told me it is. I have two pieces of this that he cut off a larger piece.

Does anyone see any problem with doing this type of a busbar? I am planning on making a cover for the positive busbar when I am finished installing it.
