Non-Partisan? Local Elections....

There are many local positions on a ballot, such as Sheriff, or Commissioner, and other administrative positions (and Judges) where the positions are considered non-partisan, and the candidates do not give a party affiliation. This can be a springboard for liberals/progressives to get their foot in the political door, so to speak. While the positions may be deemed non-partisan, the candidates most usually are not!!

I believe we would be better served if the party affiliation of these candidates were disclosed. It would give an insight into their ideology/philosophy when it comes to governing or administration.
