5', 10 seconds, 20+ rounds, how would you fare....

...with what you carry every day?

Just reread an article by Massad Ayoob Id posted a number of years back on another site.

You often hear these days, that all you need is a pocket gun, 3 shots, at 3 feet, in 3 seconds.

This all went down between a cop and a bad guy, at about 5 feet, in 5-10 seconds, with over 20 rounds of .45acp between them.

Sounds like the cop had some training and experience, the other boy was a gang member.

Both guns were out from the start.

Lots went on here that youre often told by many, will be solved with a mouse gun and a couple of rounds. Reading accounts like this, really makes you wonder sometimes where peoples heads are when they are choosing a gun to use and carry. Add to that, how many actually put the time and effort in, in practice with it, to be even barely competent.

While this did happen in a police incident, it could easily have been a homeowner in their front yard dealing with someone, or in a parking lot, etc.

Put yourself in that spot and how would you fare, with whats on you at this moment?
