Driving My Wife Crazy Again...Bought A MilSurp Humvee

So, I tend to drive my wife a little crazy. Mostly, it is just "roll her eyes" at me crazy. Every time a box shows up with my name on it, she rolls her eyes and smiles.

Like whenever I get a box from MagPul, she knows I ordered another hundred pack of PMags. When MagPul has a deal on their bulk purchases, I buy them. She doesn't mind, but it does make her roll her eyes and ask...."Now many AR and AK magazines do you need?"

I say "All of 'em" (only half joking). The reality is, I keep most of them for myself, but I pass on the savings to my friends who just give me what I paid for them.

So, I have been threatening to buy a Humvee for about 10 years. Every time the guard rolls out in their Humvees, I tell her..."That's my next ride".

Again...she rolls her eyes and says "What can that do that your Jeep can't?"

I smile back, tell her she's pretty, but just doesn't understand.

Anyway, I was looking at ironplanet.com and govplanet.com and I found a Humvee soft top for sale. It includes all maintenance records, etc.

I grunted, pointed it out to my wife and she rolled her eyes and said "Well, ****, you better buy it and she handed me HER debit card. Happy Anniversary".

It's here in AZ...in Sierra Vista. As soon as my paperwork clears, I have a Humvee.

All I need to do is get rid of the woodland camo and replace it with a good desert tan, and I am good to go.

This is supposed to be the one I bought, but there is a fine print disclaimer about "representative images" and "stock photos".

BTW...they also had a 5-ton 6x6 for $3500! I let self control get the better of me.
