How do I take care of a pumpkin vine?We collected leaves last year after Thanksgiving for our compost bins and picked up all the pumpkins we could find. I busted all the pumpkins open to help them decompose quicker and now, you guessed it, I've got pumpkins coming out of my compost bin. I figured I'd try to grow them out, but I don't know anything about raising pumpkins. I guess I need to put something on them because it looks like something's eating some of the leaves and my buddy told me you had to do something to keep them from rotting on the ground. Any advice? Thanks.
