I'm glad to see aviation on that list. Most people really don't understand just how amazing our leadership in this field is.

For example, there are more general aviation aircraft in Palm Beach County, Florida than in all of China.

There are only 2 other countries in the world with the freedom to fly yourself, anytime, anywhere. New Zealand and Australia. The rest of the world piles on so many restrictions, fees, charges and limitations, that free and open General Aviation is impossible. EU is chock-a-block full of nanny-state stuff. Ownership is still possible, as long as you land before 5-6PM when the airport closes.

The USA has at least 210,000 GA planes, from Cessna 150's to modern business jets.
All 28 countries combined in the EU have about 140,000 GA aircraft.

The entire rest of the world has 66,000 GA aircraft!
