They find fault with armed citizens defending themselves. They can't have that happening because it threatens the state monopoly on force and violence. Police, state officers, federal agents and military are allowed to pretty much **** you up in any way that the "authorities" allow. But you yourself are only allowed to defend yourself under an extremely narrow set of parameters. Even inside those parameters, the authorities will always have some little admonishment to throw in there. If you're not wearing the badge and Faux-kleys, then you're nothing.

And the other "vigilante" was a former National Guardsmen.

You know what? **** what the OCPD thinks. I'll take that mantle of "vigilante" anytime.
