Forest fires - Fire Retardant on wood home

Two search terms, wildfire, defensible space. Lots of resources. Yes it is dry up there.

Short version. 30 feet from house remove all vegetation, burnables, especially trees that overhang the house and shrubs against it. The second area extends out to 100 feet. The worst is dry crap on the ground. Get rid of it, landscape with rock/gravel. Sprinklers on the roof can help. Toss any idea you and your garden hose are gonna fight your way through a wildfire. Have a bugout bag and a way TO bugout.
