ISO face mask

I live in Bejing now and am looking for a facemask (cover the nose and mouth) during the medium to harsh smog days. The ones I have found so far - really cheap - 1. do little to filter anything out, except particle matter (there is no carbon, etc) 2. cause my glasses to fog up.

Do you have any suggestions that will fix both of these problems - yet not make me look like Darth Vader?
